First, the permanence and removability of adhesive can be divided into two categories: permanent adhesive and removable adhesive.
Second, emphasize the significance of the label surface: labels made of self-adhesive materials may be labeled on the surface of various materials, such as glass, metal, cardboard and plastic. And plastics can be further divided into: PVC, high-density polyethylene. The test shows that different label surfaces have the greatest impact on the performance.
Third, the surface structure of the label substrate: intuitively speaking, a rough label surface requires glue with strong viscosity.
Fourth, the surface shape of the label substrate: The label substrate surface can be divided into plane and curved surface. If the label surface has a certain radian (for example, the surface of a drug bottle with a diameter less than 3 cm), the face paper may be required to have good adaptability or glue with strong viscosity.
Fifth, the cleaning condition of the label surface: the self-adhesive material is most suitable for the label base material with clean, dry surface and no oil stain and dust.
Sixth, the adverse effect of plasticization on adhesive: labeling conditions - adhesive viscosity needs to be stuck in cold, hot, humid or room temperature conditions.
Seventh, the use environment - whether the self-adhesive label paper is exposed to the environment below freezing point, whether it is used outdoors, under high temperature, humid or ultraviolet light, and whether it is close to the car engine with high temperature.
Eighth, the requirements of printing methods and processing methods on self-adhesive materials: the printing materials can be determined only after different printing methods (such as flexographic printing, relief printing, offset printing, heat transfer, laser printing and processing methods (such as roll to roll, roll to sheet, folding paper feeding, sheet to sheet) are selected.
